At a glance I don't think those costumes would pass for cast at our local 
renfaire. 

No real bodice, and the one on the right looks like she's wearing purple.

They look like SCA, not renfaire. I'm way rusty, but I'd guess 14th century or 
earlier for the one on the left. I can't place the period for the one on the 
right. It's been 20 years since I played in the SCA regularly.

The difference is that rennies play it during the day for the run of faire, 
playing for the customers. Scadians will play year round all weekend long at an 
event, playing for each other. Also Renfaire (in theory) starts right when SCA 
leaves off, around 1600, and Renfaires are usually set in England, while 
Scadian personas are from pretty much any place in europe
