Hi Def formats are 1920X1080 (HD), 1440X1080 (HDV1080), 1280X720
(HDV720)
NTSC Standard Def is 720X480
Final Cut Express will accept DV and HDV.
I can select between 0.9MP and 0.3, but the 0.3 doesn't seem to bin
the pixels to get better sensitivity/noise, so what's the point in
shooting in it?
I'll just have to put final cut on my shopping list, unless someone on
this list posts that they've found something as good for a lot less
money. I spend enough of my time wrestling with obscure hardware, I
don't need to spend more wrestling with obscure software.
Mind you, I've been running Linux at home since '93 or so, and at most
of my jobs since '95....
