The 1.9/85mm Super Takumar may be the lowest priced of 85mm Takumars but it is an idea choice for many types of portraiture. I don't think you will regret buying the lens, and indeed, I think the differences between this lens and the later versions can be detected, they are not major enough to worry about. Sounds like the price is right!
