Hi Stan,
Thanks for looking and commenting.
In most cases I had an informal agreement with the artists and/or the venue,
but not always. In case of Dolcenera, I was packed tight in the crowd and
could hardly shoot... no way to move around. No, no signed releases, but I
understand a publich show doesn't need that for using the pictures.
I purposedly choose a cover picture and layout so that it could look like a
CD cover. Other pictures could work as well, but perhaps not all those in
the preview. Oh, and I'm convinced the best pictures don't show up in the
preview, as their sequence was not studied for that.

A very handsome book Dario! Excellent photos nicely presented.
I am curious - I am assuming you had an informal agreement with the
artists allowing you to do the photography; did you also get signed
release from them?
All of the shots shown in the Blurb preview would make great CD covers for
their next releases...

Hi all,
I've just refined that photo book with small improvements here and there.
Most important, I'm going to donate $ 3.00 to Medecins Sans Frontiers for
Haiti for each book sold by March 31st, 2010 ($ 30.00 have been donated
in advance). All that without affecting pricing, which remain as per
Blurb net rates.
