But trust us. There is not a flake of snow in the leaf shot. The leaves are rimmed with hoarfrost, as are some of the raised bumps on the leaves and twigs. Hoarfrost - a grayish-white crystalline deposit of frozen water vapor formed in clear still weather on vegetation, fences, etc.. Photos available... ======== Well, if so, re frost, first time I've ever seen it there, like that. Not just in a patch here and there, but covering everything. When I took the leaf shots things had already melted a bit. Anyway, thanks for the info., whatever it was happened the day after (night after) the heavy snow fall. (Trying to find a picture of my backyard with all the snow that isn't just a snapshot, something worth showing. Maybe I will just include it with another PESO to prove we had snow. Heh.)
