It's been pointed out that these shoes were in terrible condition. Something I hadn't noticed, but do agree with. None the less, even if thrown up there by the owner, the term "mischief" might still apply due to inconveniencing whatever city utility eventually winds up cutting them down. ;)
If it works the way it does around here they won't get cut down. The laces will eventually rot and they'll fall down on their own.
