Actually it won't detect any CCD while the mirror is down so it will
attack LiveView and P&S only or plainly speaking any camera with the
sensor exposed.

I wonder though if his system is fast enough to home in on the sensor
of a DSLR shooting a single frame - detect and attack would all have
to happen while the mirror is up. So this is actually where the danger
comes in - if the system fires too late your mirror will be down again
and your eye will catch the ray... I have no idea how this could
possibly be legal but then russian nouveau riche billionaires are
probably not among the moral elite anyway
