I'm sure Leica is trying hard to avoid getting eaten. I don't think they're going to succeed particularly well. Is it known for sure there's no Panasonic involvement in the image processing engines outside of the D and P&S systems? The S2 specs are rather better than I recall PhaseOne managing to do.
