Well the best laid plans of mice and men. Couple of things have popped up this week that may hinder my attendance this year. I need to get a yearly clearance from our MTO to keep my B license for school bus driving due to a mild heart attack in 2000. They send out letters which spell out what test and dates for submissions usually early(12-13 weeks) but this year they are late,(only fiving me 7 weeks to see a specialist) and i need to do a stress test and in office exam with my cardiologist all before Aug 21, or i lose my B. I was pretty stressed due tot he time lines, but my doctor has fit me in. However the site visit is just before the CC weekend and Laidlaw has given me a few more charters, the Thursday before and Monday after the CC weekend. Since I only work part time, i decided i better take the extra work, or i risk moving back to the bottom of the call out list.( if you turn down to many charters they could do that to the drivers)
I am thinking i just may buy the ticket, just in case something changes at Laidlaw, charter dates can move around, and i can then make it.
