I just want everyone on the list to know that when Larry & I & my husband, Darrel--(Larry--that's Darrel (Larry never got it right all night long)) that we didn't eat fried onion rings! No--we drank--like good adults should--I found the Glenfiddich very smooth that night :-).

It was nice to meet Larry, and it was also fun to try some Pentax lenses. Larry had quite a few with him in his gear bag. I finally got a chance to see the 77mm & the 31mm. I absolutely couldn't believe how heavy the 31mm was!!!!!!! My gosh what a surprise that was. I also tried Larry's 40mm--I have a feeling I'll be buying that one soon, & I'd like the 77mm, but I really want the new 55mm more, I think.

Cheers, Christine

It was great fun meeting Bob and Christine last weekend.

I've only done a very quick pass through some of the photos I took
in Chicago, and posted a few, with just basic processing on facebook,
because that's where most of the dancers hang out.

Here's one of the onion ring obelisk with Bob in the background, I
was playing with his (IIRC) A 20/2.8.
