I think that *is* option 3 ;-)
Well, sort of. I see the same thing a lot with software developers.
They don't really enjoy doing what they're being paid for, and they
whine about it. Instead, they could start their own "little" project or
join an Open Source project or something on their own time for
fulfillment while still getting that paycheck.
