Hold your tongue, Bob.  When Saint Henri came back from Africa he was
forced to convalesce for a time and to merely subside on a stipend
from his family.  Can you imagine the horror of having just enough to
scrape together an apartment, food, clothing and a camera?  That poor
man.  He spent his convalescence schlepping that damn camera all over
the place.  Thank the gods he didn't have to work for a living.

Perhaps the button makers define "convalesce" differently.
