I grew up with a wide variety of pets, and learned at a young age how to both bond with animals, and how to let them know that I'm the boss. I've dated quite a few women who have commented that their dogs behave so much better for me than they do for them. Cats are a different story. Dogs have owners, cats have staff. Pretty dog, but dog and cat shows, breeding for and testing animals against some bizarre and artificial definition of ideal is a perversity of genotypic barbarism that I don't think I'll ever understand. Human beauty pagents aren't much better, but at least the contestents aren't products of eugenics programs striving to preserve some deformity or other. -- The fastest way to get your question answered on the net is to post the wrong answer.
