Morris Oxford? That's a car. You must mean Morse.

Barges are very popular for living in. I used to work with someone who lived
on a barge, which he moored in Hebden Bridge. Our offices were in Leeds,
which is very close by car. One year his 2 week holiday was spent taking the
barge from Hebden Bridge to Leeds and back.

There's a place in London called Little Venice which is a very popular place
for barge dwellers. I believe Richard Branson lived there at one time. It's
in a very attractive and expensive part of London.

They are also still used for logistical purposes. For example, several
trains of barges loaded with containers full of refuse ply the Thames every
day, taking a large number of lorries off the roads. And for many
construction projects near the river it is a condition on the builders that
all spoils are removed by barge.
