I was on "older daughter duty" today, and guess where we ended up going....
I left my camera behind and spent two hours chasing a 3 1/2 year old
instead. 

If you haven't been there before, it really deserves several hours all by
itself.  That building has an amazing amount of western history in it,
including several of the original locomotives that were transported via ship
from Philadelphia to San Francisco in the 1860's.

Stephen Ambrose's book "Nothing Like It In The World" is a great book to
read prior to visiting--it describes the construction of the
transcontinental railroad (Sacramentens played a key role in the conception
and construction from the western side).
