OK, first it hit the "best sellers" list (peaking at a respectable #2)
and then it was named a "Staff Pick". Now I just received an email from
Blurb asking if they can use the PDML Photo Annual for their internal
marketing purposes (they get to make themselves a few copies to show it
off in-house and at conferences, etc. - not to give out to anyone else).
In return they'll provide 3 free copies of the book (which I'll sell at
Grandfather Mountain in June). Reasoning that any publicity is good
publicity I gave them the OK.
Also in the PDML News: I was at a meeting of the Society for Pediatric
Pathology last week (well, Dr. Lisa was at the meeting, I just went to
the dinner!) and spread the word a bit there. Rick Womer is doing the
same at the Children's Oncology Group meeting in Dallas this week.
