Well, option 1 -- my monitor is relatively bright.  (Which is entirely
possible, since it's not calibrated or anything.)

Option 2 -- something has changed.  I'm not going to have much odds of
figuring out what might have changed, other than to note that there are
a bunch of different jpg colour scheme modes; is it possible some
Photoshop update altered a default setting?
