I think we are going to come as the comedy entertainment. We priced tents & sleeping bags the other day--happy to see we can get a small Coleman cheap--that should do, shouldn't it? Sleeping bags were reasonable as well. Any recommendations? What about cooking? Should we get one of those little stove thingies?
=========== A little stove thingee comes in very handy if you like hot coffee in the morning. OTOH, lots of people bring stoves. OTOH, you'd be using their fuel. I've done some camping, mostly in my younger years, and one thing I would find it hard to camp without, a lantern. They have self-igniting lanterns now, much easier. If you stay up after dark, a flashlight doesn't cut it. HTH, Marnie aka Doe :-) I also need, being older, an inflatable mattress or a good pad. My bones no longer like the ground. Coleman makes a pretty good inflatable mattress and it also can, in a pinch, work as extra bedding for visitors at home. --------------------------------------------- Warning: I am now filtering my email, so you may be censored. **************You can't always choose whom you love, but you can choose how to find them.
