So the world economy is up Poo Creek. Governments around the world are proposing stimulus packages to try & help dig their economy's out of it. Australia is no different.
Earlier in the week the Prime Minister proposed a AU$ 42 billion stimulus package. This is now being debated in the Senate. Listening to some of the Senate hearings on the radio this morning one Senator asked a treasury official: "What's so magical about the number 42?"
