Great. Just listening to the six o'clock news on Radio 4 and can't believe what I'm hearing. Then again, we got caught in something similar in 96 after a day-trip from Northern France over to Kent. There had been talk of snow on the radio and everybody had been laughing. "There's never any real snow around here...". The first flakes fell when we were having dinner at our favourite Indian place in Dover. By the time we arrived at the docks, there were already two inches. On arriving at Calais things looked more like Vladivostok. Took three hours for the 40 km from Calais to Boulogne and eventually smashed up the car practically in sight of our hotel. Yes, snow is fun... ;-) Ralf -- Ralf R.
