I'm pretty happy with the kit lens overall. I do miss the DoF control it lacks, but I'm waiting for the 20/1.7, the Oly 25 would only interest me if I was planning on buying into 4/3rds as well as m43 (I am considering a few 4/3rds lenses for eventual purchase, but the 25/2.8 isn't one of them since I've little interest in 4/3rds SLR's). I've found the OIS to be extremely effective, enough to make up for the slow lens speed in many situations. -- M.
