Warm is a relative term. This area (Northern California's central valley) has overnight winter lows that can be in the mid to upper 20sF. Daytime highs in the low 40sF. Fog is a constant threat throughout the states central valley. When foggy, a daytime temp range may be something like a low of 41F and a high of 43F. Those temps, together with the virtual 100% humidity can be very unpleasant for one who doesn't own a version of a parka. :( Summers..don't get me started!
