Sadly, I don't believe any laws or censorship will make that much - simply outlawing some behavior will just push it under the surface to fester later. And even if I'm not seeing swastikas and heils around lately, there are other examples of hate - from racial and religious issues to football differences, all around the world. Looks like we're just not going to grow over it. Any dreams about mankind united became more like that kind of nightmare you can't wake from.
I would discuss at lenght, myself, rather than censoring - but then again, I wouldn't shoot someone on remarks however crude about my beliefs.
