I've seen a couple viral moves by Pentax that showed someone there was
thinking. Unfortunately that person or group doesn't have a budget.

It's really stupid to announce a new product or model during the holiday
season. Any company would prefer consumers get their old model off the
shelves during the busiest shopping season of the year and not have them
second-guess their purchases when something better is announced.
Thus, I'm beginning to doubt that anything truly significant will be
announced this week.
