Well done. Perfect exposure, excellent detail. Shooting the moon may
not be original, but I sold my last moon shot as stock. Have you tried
the Pentax A2X-S converter on that 500? It works reasonably well on my
A400/5.6.

Recently I discovered the sharpness "sweet spot" in my Pentax 500mm
4.5 is at f11. Last night featured what was apparenly the largest
full moon of the year, so I went out and shot it when it was almost
straight above me.

This image, shot with my K10D, is 800x800. If I had left the crop
at 100%, it would have been 919x919. I applied some unsharp mask to
reduce atmospheric blur, but I may have overdone it a bit. I truly
wish I could find an affordable teleconverter that wouldn't make my
500 look like it had vaseline on the front element.
Anyway, this was just for fun. I'm not expecting comments or
