I didn't say it wasn't simple to use. I said I found it a pain in the  
ass to use ... I didn't give a reason.

The pain in the ass was that my father adored that camera and kept it  
pristine perfect, as if it had never been touched. I take care of my  
equipment but I don't treat it like sacred objects. Using his camera  
was a pain in the ass because whenever a little bit of dust or dirt  
would get on it, I could hear him in my head saying to be careful,  
clean it now, etc etc.

I owned and used a IIf and IIc for 18 years. No problems. They were my  
cameras, to do with as I pleased.
