I've noticed since getting my repaired 16-50 back that the edges  
(especially at 16mm) appear to "smear" magenta/green across the edges  
of objects near the outer edges.

I've wondered if this is "normal" or if I'm just pixel-peeping too much.

Is it time for me to send this in (again)?

First repair was for a barrel which was coming apart, and part of me  
worries that they reassembled it incorrectly and wrecked something  
which used to be good.
