There isn't much of a second-hand market any more, but you could try the following:
Kingsley Photographic, Tottenham Court Road (TCR) (Warren Street tube) West End Cameras, also TCR, almost opposite Kinglsey Jacobs Photographic, New Oxford Street, TCR tube Camera World, Wells St - runs between Oxford St and Goodge St London Camera Exchange, Strand R G Lewis used to have a shop on Southampton Row but I haven't been there for a long time - last time I passed the building was under wraps, so R G Lewis may have moved or closed Chain stores such as Jessops will happily sell you new stuff as well. The main shop is opposite Jacobs on New Oxford Street. Jessops also has a 'classics' shop which has recently moved from Pied Bull Yard and is now off Holborn / Kingsway / Southampton Row somewhere - I haven't been there since it moved. There is another shop in Pied Bull Yard whose name I've forgotten, which does some used stuff. Also in Pied Bull Yard is a good Leica shop, but obviously no Pentax stuff. These places are all within easy walking distance of each other. KJP/Calumet have shops on Drummond Street (Euston tube) and Wardour St (TCR), catering to the professional market (last time I went in to Drummond Street Magnum were holding a staff seminar!). There may be some Pentax stuff. There are others of course in various parts of London, but these are the main West End shops.
