I took the negatives and the contact sheet to a third lab tonight, and the guy looked at the negative with some sort of machine and said that the machine wouldn't be able to make the prints, and I'd have to get them printed manually. I guess I could wait until I learn darkroom skills, someday, or perhaps I could get a negative scanner that would be bright enough or whatever to scan the negatives. Or do I need to go to a lab that does manual work and spend a ton of money to get prints? What's the best way to handle this? Is there a lab anyone could recommend for this sort of work?
