I originally bought mine for the PowerBook G4 17", which I had while I was at Apple. I returned that one to my department when I left Apple in 2004, but the case belonged to me. I now use it with a PowerBook G4 15" in 2006 and find the 17" case fits the 15" model with a nice modicum of room to spare, useful for carrying other books/ magazines/accessories while still remaining very trim.
