Absolutely none, in my opinion. It used to be the case that if you switched to DNG you either lost the Pentax MakerNote tag or had to pay a severe premium (basically encapsulating a copy of the entire PEF file within the DNG). But a few DNG/ACR releases ago Adobe came up with a scheme that saved a copy of just the MakerNote tag. That being said, I haven't done it myself with my old PEFs from the *ist D.
