Google 'leica m5 prototype'. It's been up for sale before, apparently the same people. On the photo.net thread about it someone wrote in Jan "Calling this the "M5 prototype" is a bit misleading[...]. This was a prototype for A METERED M camera - but it appears in most of the history books dated as an early 60's concept camera (note the external selenium meter), long before there was even an M4, let alone plans for an "M5" per se. " It doesn't look remotely like an M5, so I tend to agree with the above. The seller has a website here: http://arsenalphoto.com/ge/lmeng.asp. They say they have a lot of stuff which was formerly property of the Leitz Factory Museum, but to me it all smells strongly of fish. My recommendation is that you keep your credit card in your wallet, but send me 10% of the BIN price for my valuable advice.
