Both are well executed. While the empty chair is more unique, the reader is 
more compelling to me. Good stuff.

BTW, the empty chair reminds me of an ad I did for Bacardi many years ago. The 
pic was an empty chair in a tropical bar with a hat hanging on the corner of 
the backrest and a cane leaning against the chair. The copy was a Hemingway 
parody.
