My FA 50/1.4 needed -4. My other lenses were all in the range of plus or minus 
2  if I recall. (Although I can't remember what the number was for the 80-320. 
I'm not at home now, or I would look.  It was while playing with the FA 50 that 
I first decided I ought to set the focus points. I don't think the FA 50 front 
focused on the K10D. I probably would have noticed. Some day I ought to check 
it. Or maybe not:-).
