The 31 is monster big and heavy. Probably bigger and heavier than the other two 
lenses you've 
mentioned combined. It is also a very good lens indeed.
However, the 35/f2 is also a very good performer, and is quite a bit cheaper 
(if still 
available, which I don't know), perhaps cheaper enough to allow you to decide 
whether you want 
the 21 or the 70.
