Bill, you're right. In Israel we have plenty of goods produced in Turkey that are probably even of lower quality than those produced in China, but as a matter of fact, some Turkish or Chinese products are very good.
I did not chuckle hmmm on the means by which China became what it is now. I chucked at the salesperson at the store. She was so hmmm naive or straightforward about the fact that I'd better buy something now because there may be nothing to buy in the few months to come. I will probably take the second half of this talk off list.
