Paul - Thanks for passing along the info. I know at least one other camera manufacturer is doing the same thing. It won't be long before it's a must have feature.
I find it interesting that just a few years ago it would be unlikely that we would have found these differences and even less likely that we would do much about them. I do remember the stories of photographers buying several copies of a lens and keeping the one they thought was the sharpest. Few went to that much trouble. Now, it's easy to detect and fix.
