I recently had the chance to display some 6x6 slides to a group of young people. Most of these kids were 15-16 years old and they were literally blown away. They couldn't believe the detail and clarity of these photos. It actually took me a few minutes to realize 1) most of these kids had never seen a slide show before and 2) they've grown up with digital. One of my daughter's friends, who said she was interested in photography, couldn't believe these pictures were made with an old Rolleicord. Needless to say the whole experience put a smile on my increasingly retro-grouchy face.
