Just to add a bit more to my little story, given Toronto's tight-ass
past, the irony of The Zanzibar is that it' on our main street, Yonge
Street, directly in the centre of the central business district, for
the viewing pleasure of families and children.  The Zanzibar and it's
neon are to me what our Flatiron is to Adam.  I've taken many photos
of it over the years, but for some reason the ones I took last Sunday
are the first ones that have really "worked".

No, I've never been in the place...
