If you are not a big pixel-hunter and satisfied with the 18-55 then you might want to take a longer zoom. I am thinking to buy the Tokina 80-400 since it's quite light and the pictures I saw with it are quite nice. Also the reviews I read were positive about the lens. Since I am pleased with the 18-55 yet (and my budget doesn't allows me to step forward to the *16-50 f2.8) I am planning to buy the Tokina 840 to be my second AF lens. Well I might add that I love MF lenses :D but with the kit and the 840 I don't have to carry a big bag and I have almost every range covered :D
