Any time I am putting up a screenshot, I paste the screenshot onto a Photoshop 
canvas (New 
Canvas/Paste/Flatten Image), then crop out the unnecessary bits and save as a 
jpeg.
If I need to send it as an email attachment, I can do so easily.
The problem with using Word for this is that the smarter ones among us don't 
use it, and may not 
be able to open a .doc file.
