The lens shows great resolution and bokeh. In regard to the fringing, I'd like to see it compared to a lens that was designed for the smaller image circle, perhaps even the DA 50-200. While I haven't found a long lens that doesn't produce some fringe, it does seem to vary. I've noticed my A 400/5.6 is more prone to fringing than my DA 50-200. Perhaps because it's longer? I don't know. However, I think I'm going to want this lens. If you look at the full hi-res version of the shot they used as an example for the fringing, it's somewhat minimal and easy to fix with a selection and a color switch.
