All, So I decided to purchase an "end of life" K10D before they're all gone. It arrived, and it has Firmware Version 1.00 on it! Looks like I got a "beginning of life" item. I suppose I could just flash V1.3 from the Pentax website, but what about hardware manufacturing defects corrected as Pentax debugged the production line, etc. ?
Any advice from the paranoid out there?
