Christine, I like the uneven lighting, but would not mind having a second flash to try making it symmetrical!
I got my 50/2.8 in a complicated exchange a couple of years ago. It looks as though a truck ran over it, and there is a small nick on the rear element, but it still shoots decently. Heavy, though.
