I'm not surprised that it was accepted. It has intense colour and is an unusual subject. I like it and would have voted for it.
You can link directly to the image - right click it and choose "copy link location" from the context menu. This only works when you are viewing your photos via your artists' log in, using your password. If you are just viewing the images via the normal Pentax gallery URL, right clicking brings up the Flash" settings menu.
