It's the nature of the beast & for the same reason that tractors are the most dangerous piece of farm machinery. High ride height + narrow wheelbase = exciting ride. I imagine the only way to make that type of vehicle stable is to: - Add a heap of lead ballast to the sump & diff housing :-) - Widen the wheelbase - Install some kind of active stabilised suspension system as standard. All have cost & performance drawbacks. As someone who lives in a city, I can't see the point of these vehicles for most motorists.
