I tend to forget that "yesterday" for me was a long time ago for some, especially when referring to computer games. It is not my kind of image, but it is certainly a valid kind of image if that was you intent. I could have also have said it looks like a 1950's postcard, but that may be going back too far. Interestingly, the Sim City game is all about growing your simulated city, so the cranes and stuff lend to that description. Composition is excellent, BTW.
