Of course it's more subtle than the Nissan, it's a basic mid-size
sedan, not a performance coupe (Any Skyline you see over here will
almost assuredly be a GT-R, which is a high-performance sportscar
built from a Skyline body, equivalent to the Toyota Supra). But the
Impala certainly isn't more refined than a G35 (which is a straight
Skyline coupe/sedan rebadge) or even an R34 Skyline coupe or sedan.
The Impala is a nice sedan, but you can't really compare it in
refinment to a luxury sedan that costs twice as much and compares well
against BMW's or Mercedes in the same price range (I know a number of
people who traded in 3-series for G35's and are rather happy with the
trade).

The Caddy's are gorgeous though. And I'd probably take one over the
G35 sedan or coupe (But not the GT-R).
