Before I bought my Nikon Super Coolscan 4000ED, I had a local commercial
outfit (Meteor) scan hundreds of images. What I came up with to miniimize
dust was to use a bulb blower to blow away the dust & then package 40 or so
slides into the plastic boxes that I received my processed slides in. The
slide werte delivered to the scanner in those boxes. Didn't totally
eliminate dust, but made it a less of an issue.
