She acknowledges that she received payment. Therefore, consideration flowed both ways. There is obviously a contract here - although it may be verbal. What most people don't realize is that a verbal contract is just as binding as a written one. The "writing" of a contract is nothing more than evidence of what the terms are. I agree with you, Paul.
